Katie Nisa

As a hyperactive hypoglycemic kid in NY, Katie channeled her excess energy into dancing with the Catskill Ballet Theatre. She hung up her pointe shoes when she enrolled in NYU’s Tisch School, where she earned a BFA in Dramatic Writing. Katie co-founded the indie film company Kings Mob Productions and played a lead role in its first feature Threat. The film, which she also co-wrote and produced, was released theatrically in Winter 2006 and is available on DVD from Sony-BMG. Her TV credits include the pilot Damned Nation and Showtime’s Weeds. She is proud to be part of the ACME family, and she’s got snacks if your blood sugar is dropping.
