Travis Oates

Travis has been acting professionally for almost 25 years. His first comedy gig was with an Improv group in Canada called Cornucopia.20 years ago. He realizes that this dates him considerably. His directing and writing career began with a group called CIA - Comedy In Action in Northern California. The group went on to spawn a TV show of the same name, and was featured on Comedy Central. Travis took his experience from that show and parlayed it into jobs writing for television, movies and radio. On the performing side, he has been in many, many failed pilots, and he'd be happy to have you to his house to show them to you. He's also been in the main company at Acme Comedy Theatre now for 7 years and is a founding member of the Liquid Radio Players in Los Angeles. In 2003 he will be heading up a revolution in communist Cuba. Wish him luck.
